Under the coordination of Burdur Provincial Administration and in partnership with Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Burdur Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and Burdur Purebred Sheep and Goat Breeders Association, the 'Burdur Small Ruminant Livestock Milk Collection Network' project supported by BAKA was carried out to support rural development in Burdur by developing unique dairy products in Burdur. Good herd training was conducted for our shepherds under eight main headings (fertility, herd health, viral and microbial diseases, nutrition and nutritional diseases, hoof care and diseases, animal welfare, care and shelters, milking techniques and hygiene, parameters of raw milk). A total of 6 districts and 82 villages (Karamanlı, Yeşilova, Bucak, Gölhisar, Ağlasun, and Çavdır) were trained between December 8-29, 2022, and a total of 76 shepherds participated in these trainings.
